Since January 23, Chinese authorities in Wuhan – imposed a city-wide quarantine and severe transport restrictions in response to the deadly coronavirus. As of this writing, a total of 16 Chinese cities have since been put under full or partial lockdown.
It will have a major impact on supply chain operations and industrial production throughout China across (but not limited to) the semiconductors’s industrie. Companies and factories in several major cities and provinces – including Beijing, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong and Shanghai – have been ordered to halt their operations in a bid to quell the coronavirus outbreak.
The Chinese authorities allowed the opening of some factories next week. However, if these optimistic news would be confirmed next Monday, the process will happen progressively, and will require the sterilization and the reboot of all the assembly lines. Over this, we are still dependant of the measures taken by the freight forwarders.
Because of this, we can’t commit on delivery dates for the products imported from China. However Yorvik Electronics team are ready to help their customers to work on solutions and to source your urgent parts from alternative suppliers.
Please send your inquiries or explain your issues to your sales contact at Yorvik Electronics, or drop an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll take care of it immediately.
Thanks and regards,
